Does anyone know the specs for Wagner brand Dot 4 brake fluid? There is nothing on their website, or I can't find it. The MSDS doesn't give the specs.

Is all Dot 4 fluid basically the same, or do some have better anti-rust additives? I am guessing that all Dot 4 spec brake fluid as the same minimum wet and dry boiling point.

Are all the lower cost name brand fluids (Castrol, Valvoline, Wagner, etc) the same? What about house brands Dot 4 fluids like Walmart, O'reilly's, Autozone, Pepboys, etc?

Wrong. All meet the same minimum spec. Some exceed the minimum. Some exceed the minimum for a longer time. It isn't about anti-rust, it is about holding a larger percentage of moisture in the fluid without boiling. I like ATE. Wagner is probably fine, but maybe not good for as long in service as some of the premium brands.

He asked if they were basically the same, which they are.

If you are really boiling brake fluid, then get racing fluid.
Boiling brake fluid is really really rare.
