Hi all,

Looking to change my diff oils however I'd like a second opinion on what I'm looking to use. I have a 2017 transporter 4mo and looking to do the diff oils. From what I have gathered they are both the same spec - 75W-90 GL5.

I'm thinking either of these penrite offerings as they are readily available and I've had good experiences with the brand. (Attached)

Any help would be much appreciated and if these are not correct I'm open to suggestions.

That looks like a really good product, I say thumbs up!

75w90 is a very common gear oil but you can swap over to 85/90/110/140 to better suit your use case and environment.

He already posted in other forum.
There is no such thing as 100% PAO ESTER.

Yeh sorry for the repost, I thought it didn't post as I was in the engine oil forum part.

Thanks for the responses.

I think it's just the wording in the advert that the base of the blend has 100% synthetic based oil based on pao and esther. Not the entire thing from what I can gather.

So if you put that aside is the oil no good? Just a bunch of marketing buzz?

That's what I was thinking, there is 2 different oils in the post which by looking at the data spectrum on each would you be more inclined to use?
