Castrol NA does list the HTHS viscosities on it's PDSs but in all cases they are grade minimums not necessarily what the actual value is for their oils. They also give values of 2.9cP for both their 5w30 and 10w30 grades.
So we're still in the dark as much as we've ever been with regard to this viscosity measure with Castrol.

I have relied on Castrol brand products for 40+ yrs or so. I have used their full synthetic for 6yrs and no problems. I use 10w30 GTX in my 98 Jeep, Castrol EDGE 5-30 in my 10 tacoma intend to use EDGE 0w20 in my wifes 14 CRV for the next 10 yrs or more if she wants to keep it longer. These oils w/premium filters @ 3-4k miles change for the GTX/dino, and 5-6k miles for the synthetics
