Thats crazy and unfortunate.

Its crazy how carvana is still going.
The two cars I bought and one car I sold to Carvana were by far the most enjoyable, straightforward, and painless purchases I’ve made.

I’d prefer to do that 10 times with Carvana vs just one time of just driving past (not even going in!) the local WM…

Once I spent a good 2-3 hours researching vehicles on Vroom. Nearly all of them were from the north (rust prone) and had not so great carfax/autochecks. Good bye.

Not surprised although at one point they were offering alot of $$$.
no idea how they made money unless it was packaging loans or something else vs a profit off the cars they sold.

ie. 2 year old used car buying it off you for more than new money.

I ran my 2013 Mazda CX5 GT through Vroom, Carmax and Carvana in August of 2022. At that time Carvana had the best deal by about $1000 dollars more than the others.

Good riddance , no other company generated more BBB complaints then vroom.

I believe sketchy with processing/obtaining/assigning titles, payoffs and other things when you “sell” a car. Texas and Florida had AG after them round other states.

I hate to see a business go but I’ve never understood how someone could buy a car without a test drive first and seeing it in person. I understand returning it but that waste so much time. My neighbor ordered his BMW off there and he loved it. It’s been sitting in his driveway since May 2021 2 months after he bought it because he doesn’t want any miles on it.

My coworker, let's call him Kyle, likes the surprise and thrill of buying the cat in the bag. Just last year he bought a Touareg from Caravana, it turned out well. Then he hooked up with a Russian lady from Saint Petersburg. She arrived with an FSB shadow - we don't think, we know. He is now working a boring desk job so it didn't work out well and it may get worse. I hear she's a nag which makes for a good match because he's a donkey. And then just a few weeks ago he bought an expensive watch from a questionable online dealer and it turned out to be a Frankenwatch. Total fail. I had warned him about the watch. That's where I draw the line and try to help people.

Coworker bought an Outback on Carvana and said the same thing. Absolutely nothing negative to say.
