I'd love to try this oil out. I would be afraid though if anything did happen to my car. I rely on it too much right now to try it but at some point I would.
Guys ..one OCI typically won't grenade an engine. The most any of us (probably) would see is just a little elevated wear. The 4.0 has been on 5w-20 for about 20k+/- ..and although UOA hasn't been stellar ..it hardly constitutes dread and fear. Fuel issues, once cleaned up, reduced wear by a decent amount.
I wanted to put it in the Taurus ..but my daughter moved away and I don't see the car often enough to keep an eye on it. Her and her boyfriend are just too busy to worry about it. She doesn't use too much oil over 6 months ..but she's also not all that critical about subtle differences. Her 91 3.0 Vulcan does just peachy on MC 5w-20

It tell Dr Haas to use this oil every time he starts a "what thin oil for my other exotic car" thread. He has not taken the suggestion to my knowledge.
Gary, your results with that 4.0 have me thinking about giving a 20wt a try in my 4.0 OHV Ford (about the only engine Ford did not retospec. to 20wt.) I have a significant stock of PP 5W and 10W-30 to work through first though.

This is stuff I've had for some time. I was just frustrated in publishing UOA (still working on them) due to my test vehicle being stolen. I think I've had the 0w-10 for over a year.
He never really made the stuff, per se~. I'd have to call it a limited edition. He just threw it together (actually, I'm sure that he measured carefully) for an experiment that I was conducting. He didn't like what he saw in a spot UOA and reformulated. I'm using the leftovers trying to get one bona fide Dyson analysis out of two vehicles.
