Vista ammo group selling Ammo division to CSG

I saw this pop up on my Google feed. I don't shoot or have in financial interests in either party but apparently some are raising concerns as CSG Group is Czech owned. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out.

Isn't Colt firearms also owned by a Czech firearms company, CZ?

Sounds like a way for foreign firms presently exporting products to the USA to make things here for the USA market, avoiding future tariffs.

I'm curious as to why a Czech company wants a large portfolio of USA ammo companies. Maybe to make importation into the Czech Republic easier if a Czech company owns it? A number of articles detailed that ammunition is a fickle commodity dependent on the current economy.

Vista is CCI, Federal and more.. that's a pretty big move for the ammunition industry

I've been very satisfied with AAC ammo and its the cheapest around.
I heard its owned by PSA's Owner(company) and manufactured "with assistance from Hornady"..

The CEO remains on ... Vanderbrink. He's a clown. I recall seeing his videos during Covid chastising the shooting public for their concerns over shortages and price gouging. Expect nothing good to come from CSG US products with that goof at the helm.

Old news. It has been in the works for well over two years and in the news much of that time. The vetting process took a while as the State Dept and others are involved as there were national security concerns. Stipulations and agreements in placed before State would clear it...its apparently closed recently, done deal.
