Depend on what you mean by syn. False syn yes, it's mainly G2+G3 good VI 178 and PP -43. Real true syn PAO+ no.

This is your opinion, for me and may be other your opinion is the wrongful interpretation. Are all syn even G1 or G2? yeah.. and totally different to other syn, so yes... and not.There is no "false" or "true" synthetics.

Gear oils with VIs that high tend to be synthetic or semi-synthetic. The other grades are definitely not synthetic.
The 75W-90 has a much higher flashpoint than the others, despite using a thinner base oil. This would imply that it uses at least some synthetic base stock.
