Girlfriend bought this and FRAM 5w40 for her car; decided to use one of my OG ULTRA 3614’s instead.

Looks ok I’d say.

These are severely overpriced at AAP, specially now we got options from Donaldson that have better filtration and wire backed media for the same or nearly half the cost of these in bulk.

Filter looks just fine and the end caps seemed to have a better, slimmer, trim than the other Fram I've seen today. I bet the GF was happy about you putting on that Fram Ultra w/5w-40. (y)

Yes, she treats me very well. Still dealing with the eye auto immune disease but living day by day. I’m done with garbage filters so Donaldson and remainder of my HPL NO VII 5w20 then Mobil Delvac 1 5w40 ESP til’ I die

Good Morning 53'Stude,
Thank you for the cut and post. Your pics are close up and really clear. I looked up the Fram Force at Frams' website and it carries identical performance specs as the Tough Guard. Construction is also the same with the silicon anti drainback, fiber endcaps and media. The gluing looks excellent, uniform and neat. The holes in the tapping plate look like they've gone through a deburr operation which is good. The one difference is the center tube; it has holes and the Tough Guard has gone to louvers. Based on what I see I agree with you, it looks good and I'll add would perform well. From a value standpoint, the Tough Guard is better because it costs less and has equal performance.
