Bought on RA. Around $6+shipping. Baldwin says 9.8 nominal 27 absolute. 20psi bypass.
Hard to catch but there is a little bit of light getting through the bypass.
Louvers look fully formed.

Did you exercise the bypass valve a few times to see if that made is seat any better? Maybe there's some debris in it.

Yes I did. I didn't see a noticeable difference. This one is barely showing light. I have to be in a dark room to see it.
 
Why do they refuse to upgrade to a silicone adbv?
Why should they? They will install a silicone ADBV if the OEM application calls for it like they do for Ford applications with the B7491 that replaces Motorcraft FL-910S applications, but if they OEM application does not require it, they are not going to expense it for what is a brand that is more known for fleet maintenance buyers than individual consumer retail customer.

I see your point. The FL-500S specs the silicone adbv right? I am still going to order some Baldwin and try them out. USA owned and manufactured is the way. 🇺🇸🥃
