Not sure of the MFG, Viper brand made in Korea. Removed from 6.0 Vortec. Has been on my truck since fall 2008 lol..not driven over the winter but summer up till now. Anyway here you go! Interestingly no bypass valve.

Many GM applications do not have bypass'.

My dad also has a 6.0 Vortec, every filter that I looked up. Fram, Purolator, Wix etc. All of them doesn't have a bypass.

yep, the bypass is in the engine at the filter boss.
Don't need an anti drainback either.
