Video- The real real reason Tesla developed the Cybertruck

That is one thing I never understood, they have a separate site for RV's but put a sub section in for these things. Huge mistake IMO, I dont think the owner of the site considered it would be populated with rabid Tesla cult members. Go to a Tesla forum and look for a ICE engine sub forum.

Let’s look at it from the other side - is the gasoline side populated with the rabid Internal combustion supporters?

Of course it is.

Does the cult of gasoline go into the diesel section and criticize diesel owners every time an article comes out?

Do the diesel cultists tell gasoline folks that they are completely wrong and stupid for owning gasoline cars?

No. Of course not. There is reasonable discussion on the pros and cons of both propulsion systems.

But the ICE vs. EV is filled with contention - and that contention is not being fomented by the EV crown.

It is being started by those who post only negative articles about EVs, and that gets a rebuttal from the pro-EV crowd.

Why can’t the ICE factions, who treat each other with respect, follow those same guidelines with the EV crowd?

Perhaps even a 3rd. Those who despise a well known figure who happened to put EV (and other things) on the map …

What about the 4th?
What about crazy California granola heads who can't afford gas so they are FORCED to buy EVs?

Feeling a little short changed here... Ha!

Oh I've seen animosity from the 'EV or die' crowd too. Usually when I'm driving one of our cars, SUV's or truck, that seems to elicit that response from some. But I've also seen animosity on this board from a few MSB's ridiculing others for exercising their right to own and drive what they want.

I'll soon own a Tesla. I take amusement in knowing I'll own vehicles that are sure to offend unhinged snowflakes of every stripe.

To be fair this is the EV section of the site which someone felt should exist here.
EVs, contrary to popular belief, do need lubrication, Will have failure of cooling, hvac, and other components, and are worthy of general automotive discussions. The number of lubricants in an EV are actually essentially the same as in an ICE. Different, perhaps…

I'm well aware. I think some disagree on the inclusion of it though.

I watch SpaceX send a rocket up every 2-3 days from my back porch. And every time I see one, I just hope that they didn't use the same glue they used on the CT!
