Cut open the Amsoil EA oil filter from my wife's Nissan Quest van. About 6 months, 7500 miles.

This one made by Champ Labs, blue button bypass and heavy base plate. Thinking 7500 miles just warming up this one. Well made.

This looks to be the shorty 6607 application. Ever considered the longer 7317 application?

Yes it does, they were opened up plenty far (unlike some of the Puro's posted recently) and should not be an issue.

Yes well made and surely capable of a much longer run. I had considered trying the longer filter and it looks like there is probably room for it.
after looking at this one opened up, I don't really think it matters, this one was not even showing any visual contaminates and surely could have held a lot more.
