I generally agree...not a 'fair' comparison.

You wouldn't use a 0W-20 in an application that called for a 40-weight oil....no 20wt. can meet that need, technically.

So the fact that 0W-20 pours better than 0W-40 doesn't mean someone will choose it over a 0W-40....

And, in general, what been proven here? Of course a thinner 0W-20 will pour better than a thicker oil at extreme temps!

Now, compare M1 0W-20 to Amsoil 0W-20...now you're talking!

Yes, since 0w oils are supposed to flow very well in low temps. He does mention -35C though.

at those temps i doubt you will see that much of a difference. its pretty extreme

Quite frankly, I didn't read the youtube comments. I just took the video as "These are the two oils; here it is" not that one was better than the other.

Yikes I scared for my engine when it gets down to 30 (F) below zero here. I want to switch to 0W-20 before winter now
