listed below are all the vehicles i maintain, along with the oil and filter and oci. They consist of friends and family members. Opinions welcome as to if I should be using a different combo for a particular vehicle.

2008 Honda Accord 2.4, Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy 0W20,(going to switch to AFE 0W30 year round) Bosch D+, 5k
2013 Kia Soul, Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W30, OEM Kia filter, 6-7k
2003 GMC Sonoma 2.2, Quaker State Conventional 5w30, puro classic, 3k (short tripper)
2011 Chevy 1500 4.8, Quaker State Ultimate Durability 5W30, ACDelco, 5k
2012 Chevy 2500HD 6.0, Pennzoil Ultra 10W30, Fram XG, 7-8k(or OLM 5%)
2006 Ford Freestyle 3.0 Duratec Quaker State Ultimate Durability 5W30, MC FL820S, (OLM 10%)
1999 Lexus ES300, Maxlife 10W30, Napa Gold, 3k (leaks a good bit, Aunt cant afford to replace gaskets right now, leaks even with maxlife, hence the short oci)

If you are dealing with a leaker. Use the cheapest oil you can find in spec Change the filter every 6 months or so.

Does Bitog have a database or sticky on latest tech sheets?

You're using a Bosch D+ for only a 5k mile OCI? Why so short? Or do you change it every other OC?

i change it every time, habit. i never use a filter more than once.

Your doing good with the lexus. It does need changed frequently it on the known sludger list.

The bosch D is overkill for 5k, running it two intervals is a great idea provided the engine has a clean track record.
