My fiance has a '95 del sol. It runs really good but it has a lot of valve noise. Can you adjust valve lash or is it just wearing out. It has 168k and D15 btw.

Yup, and it's very easy to do on those motors as it has rockers with little needle like things that actuate the valves, and they are what you adjust. Don't have to mess around with shims and such like Toyotas or the DOHC VTEC engines.
Good: it is very easy to do, a 30 mins job at home
Bad: you need to adjust it very frequently, like every 30k or so, or else it will be loud.
