Vaico V30-1338 is another honda spec oil filter .Oem reference number 15400-plm-a02.
Vaico is a German company but the filter is made in China.
The ADBV looked to be silicone at first, but after I did the burn test it turns out it isn't.It gave black soot and it burned like nitro rubber.
The filter media has 62 pleats measures 50mm x 1495mm and has a total filter area of 747cm².
The filter media is thin paper ,it actually looks cheaper then others.
I also contacted Vaico to ask for a efficiency rating of their filter but they do not publish this information ,so they could not help me with that.
The canister is 0.6mm thick.I actually was surprised that this filter wasn't better for the price I paid.It cost 11euro ($13) and was the most expensive one I bought for this test.

"Looks" ok. Though not an outright deal breaker for me, not enamored with the coo. As for the adbv burn test, first I've seen something like this. If it is nitrile, 'imo' seems like an attempt at deception. As for efficiency, there's a fair number of same coo OFs with no rating, but 'look ok' (straight pleats) seems to get them a pass on that from some.

Thanks for c&p.

Somewhat nebulous installation instructions ... makes it sound like the filter gasket just needs to touch the base.

Very similar looking to a Hengst oil filter. Whip City Wrencher on YouTube has opened up a few.. The base plate, centre tube, and bypass valve look exactly the same.
