The Trans Am with the LS1/T56 will get 26 to 28 mpg on the Highway in 6th gear and it is over 400HP to the wheels. Average about 19 to 20 mpg.

The 6.0/4L80E truck with 4.10 gears maybe 15 mpg on the highway with a tailwind unloaded. 6 to 9 mpg towing. Average about 12 mpg.

The Caprice with the 6.0/6L80E will get about 24mpg on the highway. Average 19 to 20 mpg.

I rent the new corvettes from time to time. They do get amazing MPG when driven responsibly. But for some reason, my rentals never achieve even 20 mpg. Mostly 16-18.

Guessing that if I owned it, MPG would be consider better

5.6 L 04 titan 4x4 with offroad kit and big tow package (4:11 equivalent)

18 on cruise at 67 on a flat road
12-15 in town depending on your foot.

Pretty amazing considering it took a 3/4 ton truck in the prior decade to to 10K which got 9 MPG everywhere Im thrilled with it.

4.6 Crown Vic averages 21mpg over the course of a calendar year. Top I've gotten was 27.5mpg hwy.

360 Dodge gets about 12mpg avg. I've gotten as high as 14.5mpg hwy out of it over 200 miles.

My 4.5/4.9 Cadillacs all got about the same mpg as the Crown Vic.

2011 Tundra 4.6/4x4/tow, would do 21 summer / 16 winter when I was daily driving it. Summer was LTX's and winter was snow tires, hence the drastic difference. Average was 19mpg (over the course of year or more) which ironically was EPA rating. These days I barely drive it and it's like 17.

2011 Escalade ESV with 6.2 V8 gets about 14 mpg. I think it got 16 mpg once on a long highway trip. It also requires premium fuel.

I am not complaining. I did not buy this car for its fuel economy. But seeing your corvette's mpg numbers makes me wonder what else GM is doing to make this possible. The Charger is pretty heavy. Is Corvette a lot lighter?

It is quite light actually, about 3300 pounds. It also helps that I have lowered the car by about an inch too, as this also makes it even more aerodynamic than stock.

Oh, OK, so that's about 1,100 lbs lighter than my Charger.

As I recall premium is recommended but not required. My sister ran 87 in her 6.2 2011 Escalade for 130K miles with no issues.

Owner's manual says to use 91 octane or higher and makes no mention of 87 being acceptable. That being said, I have accidentally filled up with 87 a few times and it didn't seem to run any different. But I feel better doing what GM says and using 93.

Just got a 2016 Sierra 1500 4x4 6.2, max tow package with 3.42s. It can get some pretty amazing mpg for what it is. All highway 22-23 mpg. Real world city use, 15 mpg, part of that is due to remote start use. If you can stay around 38 miles an hour without stopping; 30-40 mpg in the V4 mode is possible. Does recommend premium fuel. For this much weight and power i am pleased. Idle too much and dip into that beasty power and you can see 14 mpg.

I have only checked my 89 Sierra once but it was right at 17 highway running the A/C at 65mph. Probably important to note on this old a truck that the 5.7 has about 16k on a crate engine. City not so good, around 10ish with A/C and when not running the A/C it is usually winter so it stays about the same.

I have new best averages across the board for my Corvette from today! (look at the numbers on the left, under the word best) Same route as before, slightly downhill, speed in the 90-100km/h range (56 to 62 mph) and running ethanol free 91 octane gas. Windows were both open, AC was off. I know there are going to be non believers, as I can't even believe it myself. I am going to shoot for 50 mpg next time I take this route! (windows closed might just be enough to make that difference)

The M60 in my old 530i gets around 26 MPG on the freeway, considerably less around town. Especially if you put it in sport mode.

I never hand calculated my old 2011 Ram 1500. 3.92 gears, 10 ply tires and the lie o meter said around 13 to 14 L/100km on the highway, flat in decent conditions. It wasn't good.

2014 Mustang GT: 5.0L/auto/3.15 rear gears. 22-24 average with about 26 the best. I always use premium fuel.
1998 K1500: 5.7L/auto/3.73 14-15 average. 17 was the best on a longer trip.
1998 K3500: 7.4L/auto/4.10. 9-13 depending on whether I'm hauling or empty
1970 Monte Carlo: 396 big block/auto and not sure what rear end gears. Around 10 mpg on average.

My fiance' has a 2017 F150 with the 5.0L and it has been averaging 18-21.
Her 2007 Mustang GT with the 4.6L/5 speed manual/3.55 gears gets around 24 mpg.
