Is it possible to narrow the screen display on my monitor? I've already tried the display settings and that's the best that it'll get. All i need to do is narrow it. Win 11 Panasonic monitor

Are you trying to use less than the full TV display? Or are the outside edges of your Windows desktop cut off at the edges of the screen?

If it's the latter, your TV may have display settings for different input resolution/ratio. You may end up with some letterboxing, but at least you'll be able to see the whole desktop.

In display settings you will need to match the native resolution of the TV.

1080, 720, etc.
... and Windows should have already detected what that resolution is for you already. It may not have switched to it automagically, but it will say (recommended) next to it.

Disable overscan in your TV or you'll have to manually rescale in your computer's display settings.

Read my first post....
Well you didnt provide that info in the first post....
but your second post "the latter"
seems to indicate parts of screen are cut off?
if so that is likely because of overscan setting on TV.

What TV Model is it?
is it set to the native resolution on pc?

How is the TV connected to the PC?
what other ports are available on TV?- And what are they labeled.

To provide a solution we need more than

"its broke"

"Go read my first post"

We need... Details!

You could do a custom resolution and turn of scaling on both GPU and Display (TV).

Search for Custom Resolution Utility, or do it in the graphics card settings.
Need more specific info if you want further help.

If he does not mean that he has a overscan issue but that would be both horizontal and vertical.
