Mr. Incredible, any seat of the pants improvement in your unit?

I'm not sure. 700 miles (checked this a.m.) and it's hard to say. The SOTP meter is inconclusive. The last oil I had in it was only about 2.5k miles old Mobil1 5w-40. This batch is ST 5w-30. I understand it may rev a little quicker, but I wouldn't think it would be very much.

I took a gander down the oil fill pipe at the cam when I started and have an accurate mental picture. I'll check that later on.

The oil doesn't look much different. I've tried to put good, warm highway miles on it to give it a chance to do its bidness. Bursts of gas-mashing here and there. Fuel mileage is not improved.

Since I haven't driven it much in the several years since I got Camaro #1 & 2 (4-5k mi per year) I'm skeptical enough to wonder if any changes I feel are from getting some much-needed miles on it and simply getting used to it again.

However, without scientific data collection, I would step out on a limb and say it's a little easier revving and idles more smoothly. How much of that is the change of oil weights I coulnd't say, but I don't recall there being that big of a difference in the first few miles after the oil change.

Now if he said Autorx fixed his blinker, I think I'd agree with you guys.

Of course it wouldn't. You need to add some Blinker-RX to your blinker fluid to fix it. Everyone knows that. I recommend doing a blinker fluid flush every 10,000 blinks as an added precaution.
