Not long ago,I got an old trimmer running by removing the 2 screws that hold the flange surrounding the primer bulb.Used carb. cleaner to clean the internals of the carb. . Forcing cleaner thru each little hole in the carb body,the trimmer started up and ran ok,but requires more work .
