Our Toyota takes the ph3614 size oil filter.
My jeep takes the ph16 size filter.
Both are 4.0L engines. One is an inline 6 and the other is a v6.
The v6 makes power at higher rpm and calls for the ph3614 filter .
The online 6 has more torque where it seems like it's lugging.
Neither does extend oil change intervals.
Both filters are identical except for can size and I assume the amount of filter paper in them.
Any reason not to use the ph3614 size filter where the ph16 goes?
