My username appears on highway signs all across the country. So, I guess I noticed on a highway sign somewhere and the rest is history.

WPOD= back in 1973 some friends and I went up to lake Berryessa and put the boats in the water at Steel Park marina and were hot rodding around a bit and we decide to go to Puta Creek and swim eat lunch etc. , so all or a sudden I was cruising at 7,000 RPM in my Honda Sprint and my friend in his Sangar pickle fork hydro was cruising beside me, Close to 9 or 10 miles at 100 mph . It was fun but when the engines were shut off and the defening silence over took me from the other boat I heard,, that was a White punk on dope run. The Tubes song.

Definition: woolgatherer - someone who indulges in idle or absentminded daydreaming.

Saw the word somewhere, looked up the definition and it reminded me of Highschool; the days were filled with day dreaming about football and girls, while trying to get through the boring stuff. I think there are many of us who still dream about the "good ol' days".

I now include time at the Academy and my time at sea among the good ol' days, but only because I forgot how ****ty a 110F steam ship engine room was and welding while drenched in sweat, only stopping for a break when your extremities start to tingle as YOU short-circuit!

My username is named after doge memes. So 2015 I know!!

I am a fan of Doge as well.

My high school was Bishop Diego and our mascot was the Cardinals. I started using this in high school and kinda never got rid of it.
