No, not at all.It is possible that you might have this stereotype.I just wanted to share my experience for people who have Corollas (or any Japanese cars) who might want to try Bosch Platinum 4 spark plugs, people who might read and change their minds.
There is no need to look for or create a drama here.
Your experience is duly noted, respected, and in no way questioned. Where I do see a problem is that it seems that you're extending your conclusion about Bosch auto products far beyond what your evidence/experience would support. By all means, don't again use the parts that gave you a problem. But you should note the successes others have experienced too.
You should consider trying some Bosch Icon wipers. The set on my Camry is two years old, and apart from one streaking spot caused by a break in the glass (i.e. not the blade's fault) they are still fantastic. Notice now, and this is key, I'm NOT going to declare that everything Bosch is wonderful because I'm having a great experience with their wiper blades. In like fashion, you should not condemn them across the board because of your limited experience with their products.
My O2 sensor is made by Bosch, my wipers are made by Bosch (Evolution).I like the wipers a lot and O2 sensor is working well. But Bosch Platinum 4 spark plugs for my car (correct part number) did not work, 15MPG on Bosch vs 35 MPG on NGK.Must be a mistake of Bosch parts interchange info.
If the moderator Bill in Utah had not deleted one of my posts, you would have read I like Bosch appliances too.
