Coal they have, oil they have to import and supply is easily cut-off in case of war... it makes perfect sense given the current global situation

Thanks for post. Just to clarify, in the table, most of the coal “exported” to Canada goes to the coal loading facility in Vancouver and is then exported to Asia. As far as I know not much of it is actually consumed in Canada.
