Its 8pm and i havent received my power steering pump i ordered like a week ago. They constantly post a delivery date they cant commit to also. Theyre also getting bad about where they leave the packages. Found mine and the neighbors package on top of the trash cans at the end of the road.

You may be right, but compared to our US Postal Service, UPS are speed demons! LOL!

My friend is coming over tomorrow to help and I haven't even told him it hasn't shown up yet lol

I have more disappointment with UPS than Fed Ex. I am sure others might have the opposite experience but UPS seems to update their delivery for a later date quite often.

They work those guys to death its ridiculous. They arent allowed to go home until the truck is empty. Or they max out their allowable hours for the day

I ordered a wheel bearing on the 21st and got it on the 23rd.

It works both ways. The faster you work, the faster you get to go home. Their union benefits are amazing though

Yeah, but i think they load the trucks up so much they never get to go home early. The FedEx girl showed up at my house like a month after christmas and she showed me her van was stuffed to the ceiling still with packages. They constantly deliver to the neighbors house at the end of the road, so I typically flag them down if I hear them so I dont have to walk 1500 feet down the gravel road to retrieve my package

The FedEx girl
Can't compare Fedex GROUND with UPS. UPS generally has plenty of drivers because it's considered a great (paying) job, though it's hard work. They also pay overtime. Fedex Ground employs contracted companies for deliveries, who in turn use contracted drivers (1099, not W2 workers) and they are paid a flat rate per day. They get paid the same if they work 5 hours or 15 hours.

Always ranting about something. Wouldn't it be nice if we lived in a perfect world?
