Their is too much good old boy political stuff going on behind the scenes. So I know they are going to fail again and not that far into the future either. They need to get as far away from their legacy cost as they can and that means retires adn health benifits. I say their idiotic nonsense for close to 7 years. I was in side the highest levels of GM and it was like watching a bunch of clowns get out of the tiny car at the circus it was amuseing and pathetic all at the same time! If you spoke the truth you got fired!

He must have been because A LOT has changed since those times. I went thru exactly what he was talking about but those times have way since passed.

He makes a good point about the politics and how they undermine good decision making. I guessed Smith because under him the political games were much worse, at least thats the impression I got. I can't imagine what its like there today.....must be chaotic.

Actually it's pretty organized at least where I am. I can't say for the Ivory towers, but they are probably a little chaotic.
