Uninspired Auto design

Nah. I owned Yugo and did hill climb races in it.
Consumer Reports don’t know true story (in former Yugoslavia nothing was made at gun point, but then, that would require CR to be less ignorant).
The truth was that on some Yugos you could find under door panel: “the quality resembles the paycheck.”
This made me laugh.

The two cars I have owned that were by far my best CR gave a don't buy raring on - A cutlass Supreme that I drove 12 years needing nothing but an alternator (bad design, was a 5 minute swap on the side of the road), and my Xterra.

I bought one "best buy" and its on my personal list of my worst cars.
 
Mainstream cars always look alike because they all follow trends.

It’s not a new phenomenon.
