on my ridgeline, I noticed today that the front driver side disk has no wear the first 1 inch from the outer edge. The disk seems to be sticking also a bit.
I was late in getting the brake fluid flushed, it was bit over 5 years.
Any clue as to why I don't have any wear on the first 1 inch of the disk?

You might have one of the kind of rare cases where the rotor is actually warped. Maybe the brakes were hot and splashed through cold water or something. If so eventually brake pulsation will probably develop. It's also possible your wheel bearing has quickly developed play putting the brake rotor at an angle to the pads.

It's hard to day with out jacking it up, checking for play then removing the wheel and inpecting the brakes.

Very likely the pad on that side is stuck. Remove the caliper and see if you can pull the pad off with light finger pressure. If you need to exert ANY effort AT ALL to remove the pad, then the pad is stuck. This is very common in the North East.

Agreed with the sticking caliper slide pins. I suggest Sil-Glyde lube on the pins and rubber bushings/boots. If the pins are still in good shape after cleaning, I'd suggest new bushings if any, and new boots, they usually come as a complete kit. Wouldn't hurt to get new abutment clips/brake hardware as well, though if your current pads still have material left but are glazed and unevenly worn, it may be wise to just purchase and install new pads that include these clips. Can turn the existing rotors, or if flat and true just no grooving or a lip, slap new pads on, however, new rotors aren't too expensive nowadays.

So either is the slide pin or the pads are done,
I have only 30k miles on the car, kinda surprised the pins will need a lube job,
ok, I will take it to the dealer for a full brake job, don't have time or space to work on the ridgeline
Thanks for the input guys.
