Uh oh

I just changed my oil due to a major noise in the engine, not serious but it was loud.. and I thought it was due to the oil thinning too much (5-30)

Anyways I got that oil change disorder and put in tech 2000 syn. SMOKE CAME OUT OF THE EXHAUST!
First time EVER in history smoke has come out of that exhaust

This is weird? I am VERY depressed. I added 4oz of arx because of the early drain...

Only spec. I don't care for with these oils is the Noak. 12.5% for the 5w30. Amsoil's own testing had it at 9%. This could be why some have had higher oil consumption with Platinum."

Maybe the Noack of this oil is my problem..

anyways cut open that oil filter, lots of ____ in it!!
but one thing i noticed was one large piece of sludge.. kind of squishy sitting in the filter can! about 1 cm long!
and the rest of the filter media was covered in sludge

EDIT:anyways that large piece of sludge turned out to be some filter media cut when opening can
