UFA Polar Plus discontinued.

UFA has discontinued their branded oil lines (Esso manufactured) and have switched entirely to Shell products in their place.

Most locations I have seen are clearing out the UFA branded product at 25% off, so that Polar Plus may be going for as little as $17 for 5 litres. Very good deal, but a shame it is being pulled.

Yeah, this is a bad move for them. Many people liked the fact they could get the esso xd-3 oil for a very resonable price.

I dunno, but they have a power wall of Shell products with Mobil 1 0W-40, 5W-30 and Chevron Delo 5W-40 and 15W-40 tucked off in the corner at my local one now.

The shell 0W-30 5L jug is $4 less than the shell 0W-40 jug. The 0w-30 in in a white jug and the 0w-40 is in a blue jug. Just wondering why the difference?

0W-30 is synthetic blend.

Last time I was at UFA they told me they could not renew their contract with Esso so they switched to Shell.

At Medicine Hat UFA the guy told me that XD3 was going out, I bough 4 jugs 0-30 last week, paid full price, when is this $25% off MGregoir?

I got burned, last week I paid full price for 3 jugs, now this week of sale I cant get it for 25% off either in the Hat.

Did you get your oil at the UFA Petro Center or the UFA Farm Agro Store?

It was a farm agro store, they had full page tags on the shelf saying 25% off all UFA branded oil. They didn't have any polar plus left. So I went down to a petro center closer to home and asked if they had any in stock and she said St. Paul sent all of their stock to them. I told her of the sale and she gave me the 25% off.
