give it some time, your syncros may still be slick from the ATF? That was my experience in my F250 of the ATF spec years, it slowly got better, snd then it really smothed out when i changed it again.
I even went to MT-90 this summer as an experament, worked awsome, but as the temps dropped you could tell it was too thick before it got warmed up as I drove. I have tried pennzoil, valvoline, and amsoil Synchromesh/MTL and all work much better than ATF ever did.
