Two PL14610s Cut Open - Large Pics

From my mom's '05 Pilot. I used the hammer/screwdriver method. Valvoline MaxLife used on both for ~3k. The metal endcaps just fell off the first one, but I couldn't get them off the second. NO TEARS!

The first:




The damage at the bottom .........................................................^here was my fault.




And the second:




No, ^this is not torn. Just a strange "crease"

The second one looks like it has a tear near the metal crimp.. or was that from trying to remove the metal end plates?

It is not torn. I guess it was stressed when trying to remove the caps. Both for sure do NOT have tears.
