I think I will keep the 3 on 0w20 and finish off my stock pile of 5w20 on the 6. Once that is gone I'll run the 0w20 in both. The guy at the local AAP told me they were having trouble getting rid of the Mobil 1 5w20 gallon jugs and if I would buy his entire stock I could have them at $10 per gallon. So, I bought all 7 gallons he had. 28 quarts for $70...pretty good deal...$2.50/qt.!

Maybe in the 3 I'll do 4 qts of 0w20 and 1.3 qts of 5w20 just to use up the stash.

The EP was on sale with 5qts and filter at AAP for $33 I believe....just $2 more than regular M1.

That's where I bought it from.

Are you going 15,000 between changes? What filter are you using? I always use PureOne or M1 if it comes with the oil change kit.

I'm going to do a 10k or 1 yr. OCI, using the Mobil 1 filter that came with the sale at AAP. I usually go back and forth between that filter or the K&N one, depending on what's on sale. I do like the little nut on top of the K&N, but since I only hand tighten the filter, it doesn't really matter.

That is a good deal. Both cars would probably be fine with 5W-20 considering that 0W-20 isn't easily available everywhere. Most people who go to a lube place will probably get 5W-20 or even 5w30 and never know the difference.

Probably so....maybe run 5w20 in the 3 next Spring....the 0w20 I have will get me through the Winter.

So, some of my stash is SM and some is SN. Is it okay to mix the two add packs or should they be kept separate? Do they play nice together?
