Just change it every couple of years?

It's very hard to find sales on coolants that are for Japanese models. I also recall that my old 94 Camry had a radiator that lasted over 10 years with the green. I only replaced the radiator as a preventive step due to the car having 220k+ at the time.

go buy the OE fluid, you have two >$20k vehicles, why scrimp over $20?

Use the right fluid, protect the systems as the manufacturer intended, and maintain your warranty. Honda radiators are amongst the biggest pieces of garbage Ive seen though, so beware regardless of coolant chemistry.

Honda Type 2 Coolant is fairly inexpensive, just go to the dealer and get it, it comes premixed, and it only need to be changed at 120k then every 60k afterwards. Yes, it's compatible with green, but the recommended service interval drops to 30k.

I agree but I would not run the FF type II coolant longer than 5 years/100k miles. The 5y/60K service interval after the first change sounds like a resonable interval for the FF also. Green and type II are most likely compatible along with G-05 and Dexcool for that matter but it is not a good idea to have a mixture of inhibitor packs. It's best to have at least over 40% of one type of inhibitor pack.

Don't use conventional green in Honda cars. It kills the water pump.

The amount of money saved on using non-specified coolants is very small.
