i picked up some Trop artic 5w20 at a local farm store for a great price, and it seems it is always at this price. is this oil a cousin/brother of motorcraft 5w20? if it is similar it would be and excellent oil for the price, and possibly my new go to oil, to stash up on.

thoughts? anyone running this oil?

2.99 a qt daily, on sale for 1.99 a qt.

I picked up quite a few cases at Orschelns (our local farm store) a couple of years ago for under $1.75 a quart. It has gone up, but they still have it on sale here for about $2.25 every couple of months.
I have yet to have an engine failure on any of my vehicles, so I guess it works for me. I think Conoco-Phillips (TropArtic's maker) is alright in my book.

that is where i purchase it as well.

$2.99, or there abouts, is an average price for a standard store oil such as SuperTech oil at W*M or AAP oil at Adv Auto Parts(both good oils BTW). And a good everyday price for TropArctic as well.

$1.99 is an even better price for any oil. Jump all over it at this point as we'd have to look long & hard to find oil at cheaper prices with coupons/rebates etc.

I'm running TropArtic in the minivan right now. It's good stuff. Sam's Club has it by the case for $2.32/quart regular price.

Yes, TropArtic is a twin to Motorcraft as well as Kendall. All from Conoco/Phillips. Excellent oil at an affordable price point.
