TRIAX is like HPL or Schaeffers they are not really consumer ready even though you can find them on the consumer market place. They mostly market to Fleets, Idustry, Minning and Heavy Equipment Repair facilities. Think of them like Castrol or Amsoil. None of these companies have their own oil fields, pumps, refineries. They are either blenders or formulators or have things made for them to their specifications. Toyota, Ford, GM, Chrysler/Stellantis/Fiat, Subaru, BMW none of them have any manufacturing in the petrolem world they all purchase products made by someone else. In some cases they partner and do research in other cases they do their own research and decide what they want. No one distrusts MotorCraft because they do not make anything themselves or any of the other's!
Someone is either selling a good product or they are not. Word spreads pretty fast if someone is making a bad product especially if there is even a shred of evidence/proof!
They do not make false claims.
Huge difference between light duty cars and trucks and the tiny capacity they have and large induastrial applications where capacities are much larger.
If you listened to Amsoils old material than all of us that have ever used Mobil-1, Valvoline, Castrol, Pennzoil, Red Line, Motul and many other trusted brands of gear lube should have all had our transmissions and diff's blown to the moon or melted down to China by now. That is not in anyway a slight against Amsoils products but their marketing was very hyperbolic. I have no doubt Amsoil makes great products I have used thema nd recomended them myself. My point is that maybe gear lube is not as demanding as some would make you think in every application. Other than in a failed axle that was knowingly abused or ingested water I have never seen gear lube come out anything but pristeen. In ever case where it came out looking or smelling terrible either the axle bearings or the diff and it's pinon bearings failed and the spiders failed and in every case the vechiles was used to tow in excess of OEM limits, never had a fluid change and often had water in the lube. No one wants to admit they caused their failure so it is always the fluid.
