Has anyone used Triax Synergy Gear Max, specifically their 75w140? I know that most/all of their claims are ridiculous but since their price is good I was considering it for a 30k interval in my 2015 Ram 1500 that calls for 75w140LS. The one gallon jug is only $40 and would leave enough left over for our 2008 Mazda CX-9's Transfercase.

Per their PDS do they actually meet those specifications or do they CLAIM to meet them?

Thanks in advance!

If that's the case, why would you trust anything else they say?

A few previous threads about Triax, but not exactly the product you were posting about. There are more if you search on the name:

Triax Lubricants is a weird company that I think really does not know how to label and market their fluids for regular retail sales and is use to fleet and other large scale customers as their majority selling base.

My VW Jetta has a specific power steering fluid spec that is not really universal or even carried in a lot normal automotive parts stores. I ordered off Amazon a quart of this fluid that Triax advertised and said was compatible and received a quart with a base label on the front of another spec fluid but then had a computer printed sticker label slapped hap haphazardly on it with the correct spec info. The fluid had the correct green color but I still called Triax directly and asked about this relabeling and they owed up to it but said I had the correct fluid. Luckily, Amazon took it back for refund.

I do not think their stuff is necessarily terrible as if it was truly trash, we would be hearing extensive real world complaints, but I would not use their stuff if one is on the margins of ensuring a outlying spec is being met by them.
