Never heard of the gear oil before. Triax Synergy Gear Max 75W90 GL-5 Limited Slip Ultra Long Drain.... They have it on Amazon for $39.56 with free shipping with Amazon Prime member. Was wondering what the feedback from BITOG members is on this Gear Oil. IF your feed back is positive -- gonna pull the trigger on it for 2 gallon jugs for the new to me Tundra just purchased in signature.

TRUE SYNTHETIC WITH PAO - This is a true synthetic formulation with PAO base oil. Dont be fooled by cheap products which advertise themselves as Synthetics but have a VI Index below 160 and freeze at -30F and a very limited specification range.

Yeah no complaints. The price was right and nothing has exploded yet.

The Touareg is known for weak front differentials but frequent changes have kept mine healthy.

If you're using it for a differential that calls for GL5, there is nothing wrong with using the Triax
