Does anyone know anything about this new fluid? It seems that Traveller fluids use a thinner weight base that is more comparable to low viscosity oils. I am looking for a standard weight hydraulic/transmission oil for my Allis Chalmers 7000 (has a powershift transmission in the sump). Would I be better off going with HyGard from the JD dealer? Or where can I find Shell Donax TD or the Shell and Valvoline UTFs? Is shell Donax TD an oddball with it's 15w30 weight? Or is Traveller the odd ball with the 10w20 weight? What is the norm for standard viscosity? Kind of got off track, but is this new fluid anything I should consider or should I go with another fluid?

It's a 9.3 cSt UTHF and the vis is about right.

Nothing wrong with it; it's a mineral oil with a decent additive package.

The Renew UTF is suppose to be a step up from the regular Traveller, with added AW additives and seal conditioners for use with older tractors.

check the spec's on the pail if you see yours the fluid will work. yes it's a 10w20 thats the norm and standard viscosity for UTF.

Yes it would be nice i'd love to see if the VOA matches their marketing!
