Just as an fyi, my daughter worked for a transmission shop and she said those specific stock transmissions in this specific vehicle seem to automatically drop dead between 75k and 100k miles.

Lifetime fluid is a bunch of nonsense IMO and is one of the few things I agree with Scotty Kilmer on.

Athough I would have serviced the tranny sooner, if you clog the filter in 78k miles, you already have some issues brewing. GM transmissions generally have been weak and nobody but only the original owner knows how the vehicle was driven in its first 70k miles.
