Hey guys
new member here - I've been using Amsoil for my 2006 Mitsu Evo -
Motor - Amsoil 10w30 atmqt
Trans - 75w90 GL4 trans fluid
Transfer Case - severe gear 75w90
Cusco 1.5 way rear diff - severe gear 75w90 (considering switching to 75w110).
Anyway, I was wondering - everytime I've changed my transmission fluid with amsoil, the oil goes from a very light golden clearish color to a very very turqoise color - similar happens for my transfer case and rear diff except they turn maroon.. Is this normal??
Also, I'm considering switching my diff fluid from 75w90 to 75w110. I've spoken to cusco and they recommend 80w90 for the street and 75w140 for more track cars. My car drives mainly on the street and autocross twice a week. Opinions? Should I stick to 75w90 or switch over 75w110? My car produces about 370whp 360 lbft of torque.
Thanks for all input!
