Hello guys, first post here. Recently bought an 07 Chevy Trailblazer SS AWD. I have been reading around on here for a few months and have been debating between Mobil 1 0w-40 and amsoil 5w-30 XL. I can get the amsoil for the same cost locally as the Mobil 1.
The TBSS’s LS2 is cammed, with upgraded oil pick up tube, lifters, melling pump, etc and getting a fresh rebuild. After the engine break in what oil would be better to use, if any? It will be paired with a AC Delco PF63 filter as well. I live in Northern Michigan and daily it so it does see very cold temps, around 0-10 usually, during the winter months.
