I know that problem. If you have used Blackstone you should be able to access your uoa files by logging in to the Blackstone site and retrieving your info.

Delo 400 the old formula used to have about 220ppm of moly, the stuff nowadys is like most motorycle oils 100 ppm or less. So moly is really a non factor with this oil. When you get up above 400 to 500 ppm of moly , then you get boderline clutch slippage possibility.

Personally, I rate the Delo over the Rotella for MC use. They both will work, I've just think the Rotella is too much clutch grip and makes the shifting notchy dependin on the particular bike.

Lot's of my track buddies run Rotella and love it and the used oil analysis show it is a stout oil.

In my track bike shifting got worse as the day went one.

Steve what would you recommended I do different?

i would change it after the 1st track day and run fresh the 2nd track day.

you should be whipping that poor oil into water by the end of day one if you really are pushing it like you have said. above 10k puts a lot of tear on that oil in the gearbox

you may be able to do better or worse with another brand or visc.

I saw a Royal Purple test on one of them there shows. They gined HP. The thing is they replace 10w30 conventional with a 5w30 synthetic. This is apples and oranges.

Wow you got me thinking Steve, my bike is above 10K and hitting the limiter at 14K all day.

I guess I will start changing after each track day.
