Not to go off your topic, but the old Toyota/Lexus filter 90915-20004 which are made in Japan and are supposed to be very good filters are still availible at a few dealers. I purchased several a few months ago from Carson Toyota...I think they were like 12 bucks, shipped. I'm not sure if they're the right filter for your application, but if they are correct, then you can use them and be sure you're using the best.

Chimay, BTW I have several bottles of Grande Reserve from the the middle 90's in my cellar. It ages great, so if you have the patience, you may want to consider starting (if you haven't already) your own stash. The #@$%! with oil stashes

If you are going to pay 12 bucks for a filter then buy a K&N or Amsoil EaO or Mobil 1. They are by far superior than the toyota filter...yes even the old spongy kind! Just buy the new 90915-yzzd3 oil filters for $5 and will give you similar performance as the 20004.

Don't know for sure if they're the same as Wix, but they look exactly the same. They just have Toyota TRD on them. You're just padding Toyota pockets buying these filters!

Yea, I know but I bought a few of them a couple years ago and this is my last. The description on the TRD USA carton is also exactly the same as on the Wix web site.

I just finished a bottle from 1997 a few weeks ago, the last from a case which I had stored in my beer cellar. I now have a case which I bought last spring which I will start drinking in a couple of years. I seem to like it best between 3-6 years of age.

Then I needn't preach to the choir. It seems like you're already enjoying some aged ales.

So far, I've had just one 10/95 go flat (ealier this year). Do you age anything other than the Grande Reserve?
