The Toy store told me that the 5W-20 'blend' they installed in my HyCam is made by Mobil. True? Or, not?

If its a Mobil product, the only one that matches is the 5W-20 7500 blend. However, the guys at the Toy store said that the Toyota product contains a 'special additive package.' How different could that be from the 7500 blender?

Any thoughts, Gents?

It's Mobil-made. Probably pretty darn close to 7500 5W-20. Unlikely to have a vastly different add-pack.

Honda FF, however, appears to be LOADED with moly.....

Maybe, maybe it's the assembly lube. But the oil at the "Honda Store" [or in another dialect the stealership] doesn't have the moly we pine over.

FWIW, from 5 to 10k I used Mobil 1 5W-20 full synthetic. The new oil put in less than a week ago ... and its probably my brain working overtime.... makes the engine seem noisier. Weird...

Thanks Steve! Apparently, the 'Conoco Connection' at the Toy store has gone south and now its operated by the dealership using Toy branded products. I was looking forward to going Conoco/Phillips66/Union 76/Kendall/Motorcraft this oil change. Bummed a bit. But it was free!

Sure seems noisy though.... the Sienna running MC blender 5w30 is quite as a church mouse....
