Toyota Luxury Vans

I've ridden in these when traveling to Asian countries, they seem to almost exclusively be used for livery services. I've never been in one as custom as some shown here, but not surprised they are out there. This is the Asian version of the black Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban and limousines.

Wow those are some obnoxious looking vans. Can Toyota make their grilles any uglier?

The setups in those vans are pretty neat. You can get sprinters and fords set up like that here.

I actually see Hiaces pretty regularly in LA with Baja California plates. I just saw an entry-level model two days ago, in fact. They either come with the 2.8 I4 diesel or 3.5L V6 in Mexico, and 6-speed manual only!
As those RHD JDM versions, or are they sold new in Mexico with LHD?

If the latter, I'd be interested!

I rented a HiAce for a day when lived in NZ. (We needed a 2nd van to transport a number of young fellows for a paintball party.). The van was really substantial - it felt heavy and solid.

Yeah but the sprinters and fords drive like garbage unfortunately with their cargo / utility roots .

How many miles have you put on those Japanese vans to verify the contrary? Especially when they’re loaded up like that…??

LHD for the Mexican market. I will try to grab a photo when I see one again, usually they are packed with a family.
