I have NOT seen the Honda but will be in the next week. I'll let you know what I think of it.

Take care, Bill

Are you serious?

A Sienna does a 0-60 in about 7.5 seconds. The Honda is a good second more. The Sienna's 3.5L V6 has much more low-end torque than the Honda.

While the Honda one has a timing belt, it is going to be more reliable than the Toyota engine. But it also has the 5-speed transmission. So, pick your poison.

He liked the Honda van more so I guess he may go that way...

Bill

I wonder if Honda got the transmission woes that plagued their mini-vans and some of their Accords figured out? I have been cold on Honda since I heard of auto transmission problems in recent years.

mmmmmmmmm....SL WITH friction modifiers. And Super Tech oils get good UOA reports.

What was the first year for the Tacoma 4.0? Could 5 year old owners manuals still be being used?

Numbah One in my book Jason! We have an '04 with 48K on it. No problems or issues....

Cheers!

Jason, The Honda van is also excellent. The trans problems are probably history. My next door neighbor has one ('05??) and no problems with it. It rides firmer than my Sienna. It also has run-flat tires. Mine does not. If you are planning on towing anything, you might look into the cost of trans coolers and hitches. The OEM Honda gear is really pricey...

Cheers!
