The first coat of Klasse AIO on my Silverado seems tough and offers a reasonable depth of shine. My plan is for a couple more coats, then a couple of coats of Collinite Insulator Wax.

You can't layer KAIO due to it's cleaning properties, it's removes itself.

yep, KAIO then coats of sealant glaze or you can go straight to collinite and coat that. KAIO is a cleaner mostly with a little sealant properties.

5-6 months is good, but there are other products that last that long, or longer.

duragloss 105 is about 8 bucks...
how much more are the other products that last longer?

I can't really remember, but I don't think Collinite is much more than that. Zaino is definitely more, but a little goes a long way, so it's not really a big deal for most people. Plus, you said that you...
"clean the car with Klasse AIO, then apply duragloss 601 and apply 105 on top and finish it off with Duragloss Aquawax."
That must add up to more than 8 bucks, plus it sounds like a lot of work. Too many steps.

Which sealant is the best is kind of like asking which Bourbon is the best........it all comes down to personal preference. For me, Zaino is the hands down winner. Every other manufacturer is a wanna be when compared to Zaino, IMO. I have used it on my vehicles for years and have had fantastic results. Its not cheap stuff, but a little goes a looooong way and the results are impressive.

Well you just go straight wash with dawn, clay and apply duragloss 105 without the klasse/601 or topping it with aquawax... But for the best look and longest protection you have to properly prep the car which takes time and money.

Duragloss 105 alone will last 4-5 months, the 601 only enhances the durability. Collinite is excellent, I love it but I'm partial to sealants.
