Totally INTERESTING update on Transynd and Torque drive

In response to your inquiry, all of the oils listed by Allison as “Approved” for TES-295 are simply repackaged TranSynd. The test stand for other oils still has not been built, hence there can be no other oils approved. AMSOIL would be able to meet the TES-295 requirement if it was offered and is recommended for use where TES-295 fluid is specified.

I still don't understand why they do the dance with EM (putting Transynd in EM containers), but I'm sure it involves old world money and politics (for Europe as your bud, Doogie, mentioned somewhere around here)

They're simply allowing other companies to blend the product under license, and they take their cut of the profits....

Makes sense - and fits the no test stand for other oils part. I guess I was coming from the marketing point of view - but if they (Castrol) are making $.....
