I just changed my oil to synthetics. I live in a tropical climate and here we put 15W50 in our cars. Temperatures are between 32°C and 35°C all year round with lowest at 28°C.

I put Total Quartz 9000 full synthetic 15W50 in my Landcruiser 80. It is running great. Has anybody some experience with this oil or know about some reports/tests? What about OCI's?

Your advice is highly appreciated. Thanks.

Probably the best way to determine the right oil change interval for your particular car, oil, and driving conditions is by oil analysis...

Nice truck, BTW, those things seem to run forever!

Agreed. Do a 3 and 6 and 9K sample if the oil hold up that long... then based on the info, repeat at least three times to have a better feel. You want to look for TRENDS not a flash in the moment. An analysis is just a flash photo in a moment in time, depending on all the conditions of the auto, owner etc.
